Goin' to Chernobyl

In under one week I'll go to Belarus (if the volcanogods are willing) - to work in the Belarussian part of the Chernobyl exclusion zone. I really should be packing my stuff, but... I don't know. Just procastinating, as usual. Reading on my exam instead. I hope we're supposed to pack the lab equipment on friday or that my presense at such an event is not required.
So how do you go to Chernobyl in order to do some work?
- You have to take care of a lot of papers. Especially since you're definitively going to a border area between Belarus and Ukraine. You have to be invited, to apply for visas, to give informations about your passports - a few times, picture that fills some requirements, travel insurance, plane tickets... vaccinations. *phew*
And then it was this incident with the irregularity in the flight business. If we don't get a plane to Belarus, the whole thing is off. It seems like everything is going back to normal, but I don't think I'll really believe I'm going to Chernobyl before landing in Minsk.

Wonder how I'm going to cope with my coffee addiction. Instant coffee or getting my fill at the hotel?
